Name: Faithful Quill
Age: 24
Sex: Female
Gender: Also female
Species: Pony
Sub-species/race: Unicorn
Physical Appearance: Faithful's coat was a soft, shade of tan that almost that seemed to take on an almost reddish orange tint in the right light. Her mane was a light shade of lavender, with darker streaks here and there, the mare’s mane was long and usually had a few stray strands that lent a charming slightly disheveled appearance to her. The mare was slender one, slender but strong. She was more then happy to prove that she was up to any task and could be seen both between the shelves and out helping another with their chores. Aside from the occasional specks of ink here and there, her she took careful care of her mane and coat, trying and failing to keep ink off her fetlocks and spending countless hours getting the ink off the soft tuft of fur upon her chest. Faith is almost never never seen without a pair of glasses which she needed for reading. Though she only needs them for reading, Faith has grown so accustomed to them that she wears them at all times. Another item she is rarely without is a scarf around her neck, a deep emerald green that matched her eyes. most times she can be seen with a saddlebag filled with books, either delivering them or simply a few that she planned on reading though that day.
Personality: Faithful's personality is one that has been greatly shaped by the books she has grown up reading. She has always been a kind and gentle mare, the kind of pony who would not hesitate to help someone should she see the need or be asked. That said, she can be a little socially awkward at times, and a bit of an introvert, something that she has made strides at overcoming with her career as a budding author. Another trait she has developed from her love of books is being a helpless romantic. The thought of being swept off her feet one quiet beautiful night has always been a bit of a secret dream of hers. She is also very fiercely loyal to her friends, though that trust can be quite fragile do to events she would rather not speak of, if someone breaks or abuses that trust, it will take a very long time to fix it.
Special talent*: Storytelling, and funnily enough speed-reading.
Family*: Faith is the only child of very loving and supportive parents who live just outside of Canterlot, her father being a professional bookbinder, and her mother a small time author herself.
Goals, ambitions, aspirations*: Faithful's dream is to become a world renowned author one day, just as well-known as A.K. yearling or the other famous writers
Strengths: one of the mare’s greatest strengths is probably her determination, once the mare sets her mind to something, she will see it done. As a writer she’s also quite perceptive.
Obvious weaknesses or vulnerabilities: being a unicorn, she is a bit more on the frail side of things, though her magic can make up for it to an extent. She is also untrained when it comes to defending herself, due to her upbringing and career choice as an author.
History: Faithful's childhood was rather uneventful. The mare grew up in a decently sized home surrounded by books, and until she grew old enough to attend school, her entire world was those books. Schooling went well enough, the mare attending all her classes in Canterlot. She would gain her cutie mark after discovering just how much she loved crafting a story to read to her classmates, and seeing how amazed and captivated with her story that they had become. Seeing this the mare would throw herself into writing, the mare making a small name for herself writing poems and short stories for the school paper, and even getting herself a small armature’s piece for Canterlot newspaper! School would seem to blast by in a blur to her until the mare was ready to set out on her own, deciding that she needed a quiet place to settle down and start working upon her first true novel! The place she finally decided to move to would be Ponyville
That decision would turn out to be one of the best that she had ever made, the next few years would pass by in a blur as she set up her first little shop, a modest little bookstore and stationary shop that would pay her bills as she began to work on her first projects. And seeing the various incidents and events that happened in the town, the mare soon found what she would write first! The mare began to put quill to ink, and months later, she would have it, her first story! She hoped it would do well, she had even asked permission from the subjects of her stories before she had finished her final copy letting the mares read it and gain their approval before she sent it off to be bound. The story of course was a collection of tales, the adventures of a certain six mares, adventures she had seen in town at least, and how said events had affected not only herself, but the rest of Ponyville as well.
Place of Residence: Faithful owns a small shop whose upper story is the mare’s main residence in Ponyville.
