Name: Storybook
Age: 20-21 years old
Sex: Male
Gender: Male
Species: Pony
Sub-species/race: Unicorn
Physical Appearance: Story has a shaggy brown coat, with a sky blue mane and tail. He is of average size, yet is usually thin due to him never eating enough while on the road. Not to mention his mane and tail are usually a mess, but he has no problems grooming himself before he starts to perform. He also sports a Cutie Mark of an open book with a tower on one page.
Story is almost always weighed down by a heavy saddle bag, along with various pouches strapped to his legs, used to carry whatever he needs while on the road.
Personality: Story is known as a well likeable pony by most that come across him, he has a deep love of storytelling, and is not shy about telling a few to every random stranger he meets on the road. He always has a wide eyed appreciation for the world around him, from the smallest blade of grass to the tallest mountain. He always wants to help out others, although his generous nature leads him to be easily taken advantage of at times due to his Naivety.
Special talent*: Writing and telling excellent stories, which he uses various illusion spells to help his audience visualize his story and making them more enjoyable.
Family*: His family lives in a library in Fillydelphia.
Goals, ambitions, aspirations*: He hopes to one day write stories that will be told to young fillies and colts years from now. But for now, he is content with just gathering ideas.
Strengths: Loyal, Brave, and has a great memory of certain details
Obvious weaknesses or vulnerabilities: He always seems to be distracted by anything and everything. Not to mention he falls for tricks easily. Plus he is a disorganized mess, and so dirty at times that Rarity would probably faint.
History: Storybook was born into a family that owned a library, and that is where his love of books grew. Story was always yelling and crying during infancy, and only seemed to calm down when his mother or father read him stories. A few years passed, and Stortybook was in Elementary School.
He loved learning, especially about history. His teacher had seen that young Story made his notes sound like adventures, so she gave him a special assignment. Storybook was to write his own story and read it to the class. However, he had a hard time sticking with a subject, so eventually; he turned to his lovingly crafted notes and began to write. A few days passed, and he presented his story to the class. As the story was being told, his horn began to glow, and seemed to project the images in his head while telling the story for the class to enjoy. After the story was over, the young colt got a standing ovation. And that was where his Cutie Mark came from.
After he graduated and grew up, he discovered that his home had nothing left to offer him. So, he loaded his saddlebags, said goodbye to his family and friends, and set off into the wider world. He’s been on the road ever since, stopping at towns, telling stories, and writing new adventures.
Place of Residence: He was born and raised in Fillydelphia, but he is currently living life on the road as a traveling storyteller.
